都心の緑豊かな公園の隣に建つ、地下1階RC造、地上木造2階建ての住宅。同規模の既存の住宅を解体し、新たな生活スタイルに合わせて新築することとなった。公園の地盤面から下がったところにある旗竿敷地で、高さごとに変化する周囲の環境に合わせて計画することが求められた。
A two-stories wooden house with one RC basement and two wooden floors above ground, built next to a green park in the city center. The project involved the demolition of an existing house of similar size and the construction of a new house to suit the new lifestyle. The flagpole site, which is lowered from the ground level in the park, required the plan to be adapted to the surrounding environment, which changes with height.

1階は公園の地上面より少し高いレベル、2階は樹木の樹冠部が見えるレベルに設定し、ランナーや家族連れなど人通りの多い公園内通路に隣接しながらも、落ち着きのある室内空間を確保した。 地下1階の玄関のあるピロティは、RC造の腰壁を逆梁として上層のボリュームをキャンティレバーで浮かせ、風と光を取り入れて開放的な空間とした。
The first floor is set at a level slightly higher than the ground level of the park, while the second floor is set at a level where the canopy of the trees is visible, ensuring a calm interior space despite being adjacent to a busy park pathway with runners and families. The piloti with the entrance on the first basement floor is an open space with the upper volume cantilevered to float on the reverse beam of the RC waist wall, allowing wind and light to enter the space.

1階と2階はともに構成を共通させ、西側をリビング、中央がキッチンとトイレ、東側を寝室としているが、窓から見える風景や異なった仕上げの内装が全く異なる雰囲気をもたらす。
1階は地下から続くRC造の腰壁を背景に、明るいタモ材のフローリングやあらわしの梁が明るい印象を与える。
The first and second floors share the same composition, with the living room on the west side, the kitchen and toilet in the center, and the bedrooms on the east side, but the scenery seen from the windows and the different interior finishes create completely different atmospheres.

2階は床をタイル仕上とし、全体的に落ち着いた色調の空間とした。公園の豊かな緑がより際立つよう、壁や天井はラワン合板を緑と補色の関係にある赤茶色に染色し、窓台はタモで仕上げたフレームで囲って風景を切り取るように構成した。外に広がる公園の樹木を大きな連窓の出窓から借景として取り込むことで、森の中にいるような感覚を味わうことができる。
On the second floor, the floor is finished with tiles and the overall color scheme is subdued. The walls and ceiling are made of lauan plywood stained reddish brown, which is a complementary color to green, and the window sills are framed with frames finished with ash wood to cut through the landscape, so that the rich greenery of the park stands out even more. The trees in the park outside are taken in as a borrowed landscape through the large bay windows which allow visitors to experience the sensation of being in a forest.

階段室の手すりや造作家具の建具に用いられたラタン仕上げが、空間に軽快さや上質さを加える。
The rattan finish used for the handrails in the stairwells and the fittings of the built-in furniture adds a sense of lightness and quality to the space.
外観は、樹木の緑の補色になるような深い赤茶色のサイディングとガルバリウム鋼板で覆い、リビングと寝室の出窓の凹凸が外壁にも現れて奥行きを与えている。
The exterior is covered with deep reddish-brown siding and galvalume steel sheet, which is a complementary color to the green of the trees, and the unevenness of the bay windows in the living room and bedrooms also appears on the exterior walls, adding depth.
夜になると、出窓や什器の足元に設置された間接照明が天井や床を柔らかく照らし、日中と異なった表情を演出する。
At night, indirect lighting installed in the bay windows and at the foot of the fixtures softly illuminates the ceiling and floor, creating a different look from that of during the day.

周辺環境との関係を丁寧に読み解きながら、内外が応答するような豊かな生活空間を目指した。
The aim was to create a rich living space in which the inside and outside respond to each other, carefully deciphering the relationship with the surrounding environment.
